I'm told some time in march will be the last day to get gamecube stuff at gamestop, Be sure to check out your local store be for its to late Bongos are only $1.99 I'd buy as many as I can at that price, they work with the following games: Donkey Kong Junglebeat, Donkey Konga, and Donkey Konga 2. The mic is also 1.99, not sure what games work with it.
Gamestop clearances are a great way to find things. I've walked out with Xbox memory cards, Wavebirds, and really good games for next to nothing in the past.
It might not be much good for me. Gamestops out here took the games off shelves early. Instead of holding onto them in anticipation of a clearance. I haven't asked if they've got any stored away.
It's worth asking if they have anything in the back room. Back when the DC was long gone, maybe around 2004, they had taken everything off the shelves for shelf space purposes, and put it in a pile in an employees only back room. They let me look through it though (nothing good). I think they were going to hold it in the backroom for a few months before reselling it wholesale.
alot of the gamestops here consolidated remaining gamecube stock to other stores in the area, one closest to me has absolutely none
