I still dream about hacking my NES and MSX to support achievments. Basicly one will be "You started Mario again for the 100th time" or "You switched the power of the PS1 to redo a level" like things.
You mean you don't dream about hacking them to add tutorials? Maybe check points every 15 seconds? Unskippable lengthy cutscenes?
So while the majority of us commute to work and go to school and pay bills, this guy gets rewarded for sitting on his ass and having no life? It's a mad world I tell ya
This is excellent marketing, now everyone will buy more crappy games and spend all day playing XBOX too. I can't say I believe that Microsoft rewarded this guy for anything other than promoting their product and making people feel like they're actually achieving something real. Guaranteed most people will never receive these gifts regardless of how hard they work.
