Was just looking on fleabay at NTSC games to see what was going cheap and saw Mario & Sonic with a bid of £56.99 and still some time to go. Checked on amazon.com and $49.99, so ridiculously cheaper. Got me thinking that ebay and some of it`s user`s are just addicted. Anyway I digress, while searching on the above I moved down to see what else was under this search and found http://www.amazon.com/Airline-Reservations-Sonic-Hedgehog-Computing/dp/0262033038/ref=sr_1_16?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1199454974&sr=8-16 Which got me thinking, what other good reads are there out there for the gaming industry/collector etc and not just game guides??? Secondly I would have quite liked this but not at this price just on a whim, but then you can actually read all of this on amazon`s web site
There is a huge article in a past issue of Edge detailing and reviewing many videogame related books. I shall try and get it scanned by the end of the day.
I used to get all the issues of EDGE from 1 until about 140 or something, as never got around to reading them so canceleld the subscription

The only gaming book I own: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Video-Games...bs_sr_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1199480332&sr=8-1 Good read, if rather incomplete - does cover quite a lot of the popular consoles and games though.
Read-ux I read through most of a copy of the Ultimate History of Video Games that a buddy of mine has. Pretty good but there wasn't too much I (and probably any other dedicated forum member) didn't already know... ~Krelian
Anyone remember that book that was announced early last year about the history of street fighter and mega man? It's suppose to come in a nes style packaging I believe? I'm just asking cause I'm curious when it's suppose to come out.
I tend to go for collection books as i find them useful for collecting plus interesting as a cataloge of things released. A couple of the better ones. This one gives box shots & descriptions of every PS1 & 2 game (upto time of book release) a few more notable games get mini features. Also comes with 2 discs full of saves. Famicomplete is just that, a complete listing of every single piece of famicom software & hardware & peripherals its an amazing book. Now if only there was one for super famicom like the famicomplete id be in heaven.
Importaku do you have that one famicom book that's both in English and Japanese? As well as that mega drivers book that comes with a mini mega drive replica?
