I think i have a kypton somewhere, but how do i tell if its earlier than EV3C2?

 

Thanks for your response capsulej. On the back of the controller on the EV3C2, it may have a small barcode label indicating it as such. Although on many controllers it may have worn off.

The EV3C2 seems to be the closest to retail, with only noticeable differences being the white center guide button, and small engraved markings near the joysticks. If yours is missing a guide button or has the surface type "A B X Y" button markings (rather than the retail inset type), or anything different, I'd definitely be interested.

How did you "lose" the acclaim award?

Damn, now I wish I had one to sell you after reading that.

 

I had to move across the country for my job. My now ex wife did not join me. The award was in storage near my former home during the move and subsequent divorce. I was unable to retrieve some of my items before another party (without notice) disposed of them.
