Hi guys, i'm in need of your help! Do you guys know how to catch peoples interest into checking stuff i have? Will hanging a sign work? Is it possible to walk around the streets and do dealings that way or things like that? I live in a urban so it's pretty tough getting some of them to checkout. Any thoughts or ideas how to start easy for a noob like me? I would love to hear it! Thanks!

For a successful sale; advertising is a must. Things you can do:

Take an add out in the classifieds of your local paper.
Make flyers that you can staple to a telephone pole or tape to a light pole(if allowed in your area).
Put flyers up at your local grocery store if they have a community news board.
Put flyers up at local Mom and Pop restaurants and Gas/Convenience stores if they allow it.
Signs are good, but locate them were you have a constant flow of traffic and always get permission to do so.

These are all things that family and friends of mine have done.
On flyers ... it does help to list some of the items for sale.

I'll take it into account :) Thanks man! well actually today i've discovered this site called "Webuytronics.com" and they apparently take stuff and purchase them off from people via free shipping. But thing is, i'm quite unsure how well the service is (since GameStop took over) now i'm afraid they'll screw me over with some store credit crap. And if that doesn't work out there's always Nextworth which isn't too bad looking and hopefully gives out more profit than the other if it's the case. Have you heard of those sites before? If so, would you kindly let me know how trustworthiy they are by anychance if you had used them one time.

You could try eBay and Amazon.com. I had a yard sale a couple times before but it was when I was little so I couldn't give more tips than putting up signs. I actually tried selling mine and my sister's GBAs but no one bought them for $40 bundled together at those yard sales. Thank god for that. I would be kicking myself to this very day if someone did. It was the first Nintendo system I ever owned.
