Well I had to verify this myself. For research purposes, of course; and he's right, there are gay porn HD DVDs interspersed in the results, and weirdly enough, they all have the same title listing: "Gay Interest dvd". They're all complete classics, such as "Do Me Daddy" and "Snow Blindness".

Thing that bugs me was.
I was looking for a new HD DVD player for my x360. I was scrolling down , then my mum came in whilst those dodgy videos are on my screen. She will think that what I'm looking for on eBay.

Try searching for "xbox 360 hd dvd player". You were always going to get a lot of irrelevant results if that's really what you were looking for.

Or you could put "hd dvd -gay" - although that seems to yield more results, bizarrely!
