    Hello boys,
I'm going to buy this flash card for my good old Gameboy/Gameboy Pocket/Gameboy Color!
I'd like to know what do you think about this card
This looks good , I think that the only problem is that this can store only one savegame at a time
BTW it looks like a good flashcard !

Just got one recently. Working fine so far, and I'm simply not using the multicart feature so the one-save-only-thing isn't a problem, but it's a real pita to get working on a 64-bit Windows (have to self-sign the driver, then reboot Windows into a certain debug/test mode - Really annoying). Also, the cart shell has a really cheap feel to it, I might just get an old Tetris cart as a donor.

Just use the 32 bit version on windows 64bit , its a tad slower ,but hey. Now burning takes about 5 minutes but its still worth it , I use mine all the time . Though the only is it can hold only one save but you can transfer your save to you computer so you can play another game and save ,then when your done you can re-burn that previous save to the flash cart and pick up where you left off.

It's great considering the cost. Not perfect, but cheap enough that you shouldn't really complain.

The main bad thing is it's not actually emulating MBCs like would be ideal. Thus some games with certain bankswitching or odd writes will crash. Myself and some other people have released patches to fix these games.

Are these patches single-game patches or card-kernel patches ?

npt: You do know this is about GB/GBC, and the GB Micro only runs GBA titles, right?

The patches fix single specific games. They can be found on NESDEV's forum on the Gameboy sub-forum.

There is no one fix for every game, since the way the hardware in the device works doesn't emulate or mimic MBC behaviors perfectly. However you shouldn't be worried as the vast majority of games work fine. And again the price is excellent.

I have the USB Bleep Bloop Cartridge and it's amazing and a lot better quality, but good luck finding one new since they sell out real fast and I'm not sure if they are made anymore and they only hold one game. Also, I think those Smart Cards do not work in Game Boy Pockets just to let you know.

I used the GB USB Smart Card in my GB Pocket. But I used the AC Adapter to power it, which I think is required for it to work. So if you plan to use batteries and a GB pocket, it may not work unless you use some non standard batteries perhaps.
