    Hi everyone,

For the GB version of the Pro Action Reply, does anyone know what the code format is? Ie. Which part is the address, which part is the value, and which part is the "mode" or type of code it is? In addition, are Pro Action Replay codes encrypted in any way like Game Genie codes?

I thought about these values/formats back then when I was a kid.

If I remember correctly, the "last" value was always the value to change, i.e. get more life or more ammo in hex values. But its been a long time...

Then again, we had codes back then, making you fly in StreetFighter...and I couldnt imagine (as a kid) how people found out or tested these, by just sitting in front of the SNES.

Anyway, I think the following link is already quite interesting, yet, not what you are exactly looking for ?

Ah, this would have been perfect if it was for the Gameboy PAR. From playing around, it seems like the "Value" isn't at the end. Its someplace in the middle of the code (I don't remember the exact position). I just converted the values from Hex to Dec and figured out what positions held the "Value" you want to modify. But unfortunately I don't know the rest of the code format.
