For the last few months or so , since i've moved back to Oregon I've noticed they have these GBA's at a local game shop, that at first glance look like regular GBA's except for where it says "Game Boy Advance". It instead says "For Advance". I've searched the web and can't find a thing. Has anyone ever encountered this before?
I noticed there's a dozen different varieties of these things. There's the one shaped like the original GBA that allows access to the on board memory, one shaped like the GBA SP that doesn't allow USB access, and even a newer one with both internal memory and a memory card slot. I was thinking of picking one of these up just to have a GBA with a nice screen. Are all of them equal in screen quality and emulation quality, or is there a particular one that's better (or to steer clear from)?
I'd be all over these if one of the models actually had working link functionality... I need some extra controllers for Four Sword Adventures, but I don't like the SP's form factor. Btw, the ones at DX don't say "For Advance", but "Gameboy Advance" like the real ones, apparently [pic].
