[GBA] Contra Advance prototype (Review Copy)

I wanted to wait until after I released the Contra Spirits SFC prototype, but that's taking way longer than expected (and yes, I do intend to see that it gets released).

Anyway, I got for you a prototype version of Contra Advance for GBA that I just dumped the ROM today. Differences include, but not limited to:

-Different title screen
-Novice mode is called Practice mode
-There's a stage select available
-The included Contra Hard Corps bosses actually behave like their original versions, not like the final release's dumbed down bosses. It makes the game more difficult.

Any chance of a mirror on a site that doesn't require using their downloader?

 

You shouldn't have to be using a downloader at all on speedyshare. I'll see if I can get it onto another site, though.

 

I've updated my first post to clear possible confusion with speedyshare.

 

BTW if you have plans to use this ROM with a flash cart you can save some space as anything above 4194304 bytes is nothing but a bunch of FFs, so you can trim the ROM, in linux/OS X you can just do something like dd if=Contra\ Advance\ \(Prototype\).gba of=1.gba bs=1 count=4194304 , and there are various utilities (and of course dd itself, for example in cygwin) for windows, that can do the trick.
