Can I flash this firmware into my EZ-FLASH 4 without corrupt the hardware? Is there any advantage over original firmware?

There was definitely an update e20, but if memory serves it decreased stability. There is also a version of the firmware which allows it to function like a NDS flashcart available at: http://chishm.drunkencoders.com/NDSMP/index.html
