Well after seeing this game on game sniped about a month ago (link here) I decided to put this game on my reserve list at work just in case a copy ever were to show up. Well it just so happened one of our other stores has had a copy around for quite a while so it got sent to my store and I picked it up for $10. Anyways what I'm wondering is there any kind of idea of how many copies of this game there were released? I understand it was recalled back even from reviewers so I would think it'd make it pretty obscure. Considering it's just a Tiny Toons game I figure mostly only kids would have bought this game in the very short time it was on some shelves.
Where did you hear it was recalled? There was one comment in a Kotaku article to that effect, but there was no attribution or evidence that was the case. My understanding is it just had very mediocre distribution. I know I picked mine up at a Swap Meet new/sealed and I think Fry's had it for a while as well. It's definitely uncommon, but not crazy rare. There are new copies on Amazon right now for $40.
