GBC Space Invasion by ROCKET GAMES: unlicensed and strange.

I get this one. Game is cool but very unstable (hangs sometimes). It has a memory battery .The plastic and form is different from any GBC game cart.

GBX magazine gave away a double game pack, which was even boxed, with one issue. It contained Space Invasion and Karate Joe.



I also have the GBC adaptor for the PS2 that they made. Plugs into the memory card port.

 

Wow, that is a very cool give away. I take it the magazine cost more that month?

Wow thanks for all the info and the Magazine cover. I am just a SPACE INVADERS fan, so wen i see this title tough it is a pirate copy for regular SPACE INVADERS GBC (compatible with GB indeed , it is a black cart i own it) So i get it.. then i see was even darker ..

Need to admit port is good. Game play is very loyal to original TAITO versión but with some interesting changes (like the defense system size and the laser bullets you shoot)

ASSEMBLER : yes some AMIGA DEJA VU on the cover front, you right.

It still makes me wonder why some mags had a 2in1 while other "just" included Karate Joe....

Looks neat in a way , but what is with the tumor coming out of the top of the cart.

 

I´m pretty sure was about don´t violate the Gameboy cartridge patented format as Timetop or Wisdom Tree

 

For a freebie, that's pretty good!
