I'll second that, I'd like pictures. Is there any software on the cartridge?

I'm not interested in those items, but I think it's in everyone's interest if you give us something more solid to prove your legitimacy than just your e-mail address... how about some ebay feedback, you know what I mean.

Some pictures with the stuff and your handle on a piece of paper alongside would be a good idea.

    No pictures available either. :smt030

I'd still like to know what can go on the disk.

    Hello!
I've just received the NPDP and the game on that cart is...

    ...Sonic Adventure DX Director's Cut.

BTW do you know if it is normal that the button that opens the cover on a retailer unit, on the NDPD is not working? Always pushed with no return?
    Thanks!

    Nicola

    Very nice!

Have you run the game yet? if you find anything interesting in the game that looks different, please let us know!

Any chance of some photo's ;-)

Does anyone know what sort of format the carts are written in? are they a disk image with a hardware emulator? are they in FAT32? do they have the same CSS on the carts as the DVD's? can the carts be dumped/written to easily??

I find this device very interesting, it's certainly one of my big time wants.

  20. Heres a few answers to your questions, hope they help:)

1-'Yes' the 'game' is written on the cart as a .GCM file.

2-The cart has 'special' formatting software on it which is 'unique' to the operation of the cart. The cart is written to using dedicated hardware. The cart is based on a HDD rather than a Flash device. The cart can accept 4 x 1.4gb games per cart.

    3-You 'can' write 'additional' data to the cart/modify files/test etc, using P.C > Software > USB-EXI device > NPDP-GDEV > Cart

    ;-)
