gc video lite questions

    I got some boards printed and the components, I'll probably need to do this after hours at work though since my soldering iron at home is not likely good enough for a project like this.

    I purchasing based on the BOM on github, but based on the what I read though on this forum it sound like the BOM might no be fully up to date. Is that correct?

    Does this add any output lag?

    The other thread implied that there are people that were actually pre-assembling the board. Is this correct and if so who offers this service?

    As far as I know that BOM should be up to date.

    No, it subtracts output lag. Measurements to show this are available in another forum.

    thanks for the link, it answered some of my questions. Originally I was planning on using this in RGB mode, but may opt for component. Currrently I have it connected to a 42" TV that takes HDMI and component. But I have had it connected to an RGB crt and to a plasma monitor though an upscaler from S-video. I was actually surprised how good the picture was scaling from s-video to 640x480 VGA.
