So I recently picked up a GC with viper running cobra. I know very little about GC modding at all and this is my first time handelling one. To begin with everything was working fine, It would read discs fine from any region, but I couldnt get it to read any DVD discs at all. I looked on the setting on the viper and tried tweaking a few. Now whenever I turn the gamecube on with the viper turned on all I get is a blue screen, no video, no sound. If I turn the chip off it will play PAL games again fine but not imports etc. I cant get to the viper menu screen to change any of the settings I must have messed up. Can anyone help at all, I dont know how to access the menu or how to return it to how it was. very noobish of me I am well aware, but would appreciate any help offered. Thanks.
I haven't had my modded Cube out of the cupboard for years, I use the Wii now so I had to google possible solutions. Not sure if that will help, but you can try.
Thanks for the tip. I did give it a try but to no success. If the GC was set to boot any disc by default and not go to the menu I think it would have worked fine. The problem seems to be when the viper is turned on, nothing happens now. Discs don't spin, nothing appears on screen etc. It's almost like the viper has died.
