Again, accesories equal big profits these days. MS is bleeding money with the Xbox division since it started, so is no surprise they try to get it back from anything they can. BTW, I remember when Allard was talking about they trying to avoid as much 3rd partie accesories as they can. Thats why they use a propietary wireless, I think...

Various rumors have been surfacing about the GC version of Twlight Princess being a US-release only, with Nintendo forcing JPN & UK buyers to pick up a Wii to enjoy the latest installment of the series. However, Famitsu.com has just confirmed that Nintendo of Japan will be offering GC-J versions of the game, via online sales. Preorders start 11.6, and the game will start arriving on 12.2. Price is 6800 yen (tax inclusive). No word on shipping.
Wow...I really feel for the UK there. Im sure the Japanese will all get the Wii on impact, but not letting the GCN version go to the Uk... I'm just glad they didnt pull that crap in the US, or I'd be VERY upset with Nintendo.:nod:
according to IGN the JPN ver. of the new Zelda title for GCN is going to be available online ONLY. This is going to be the rarer version out of the two (US/JPN) so advise all collectors to stock up for a rainy day
