Long time lurker up on your screens now and out of the shadows. Just wanted to say that this site is a great resource for all things from the school of old. Many times various posts around on these forums have saved my skin (or the skin of an older console). Figured I should probably sign up since I'll probably need some help in the next few days. I hope I'll be able to help some people with my knowledge too. I like collecting consoles from SEGA primarily from the PAL region between 1990 and 2000-ish. Which works out well as it includes Mega Drives through to Dreamcasts. While I am not much of a gamer myself, I am slowly learning to play the older classics I missed out on as a kid. Never had much more than a Game Boy and BOY OH BOY was Tetris and Super Mario Land the best 5 years of my life. Always liked the Mega Drives the most and after I discovered how beautiful the Mega CD I unit was.... The collection started to build! So thanks for all you have helped me with in the past and may we have a merry jolly time together! :applause:
Greetings to all! and Thanks again! I'm here all week! Hahahaha! Poor Melbournites! Sydney just must be the place to be at the moment. :topsy_turvy: Just picked up an Amstrad Mega PC on eBay. I've got to say that 2am sure is a strange time to end an auction.... Now the wait as it is ferried down by couriers from Sunny Queensland.... I hate waiting for *things*! Things, things, things, things. Oh how I want so many things!
I currently want to move out of Australia :/ Anyhow, nice pick up man! Show us some pictures when it arrives :highly_amused:. I'm kinda in the same bus, I want so many things too.. too bad money is a problem
Move out? Why on earth would you want to do that! But things are so damn awesome! And rest assured, I'll give a thorough documentation on the Mega PC with loads of pictures. Hopefully it will have some upgradability, otherwise I'll get bored very quickly. Muhahaha!
