Can someone please shed some light as to why my app/game would work on the GDEV and crash on the DDH? I assumed they ran the same underlying hardware, however, accessing some memory is different, because my game that works on the GDEV just crashes on the DDH and I dont have any debugging capabilities on the DDH (except console output)... any ideas? Thanks Jeff.
Actually some of the earlier DDHs may have used a different PPC chip altogether. Dissecting the Gamecube Service Disc tmbinc and I found some strings listing an earlier and slower processor that could be detected, leading me to believe that at some point in the development process, Nintendo substituted core components waiting for right pieces to be finished.
