I thought perhaps it was captured at 60FPS and then rendered in straight 30 without conversion. I guess I don't know whether Kev has a capture card. Still, stoked. Not to poop on the party!
This game looks OK. "Achingly beautiful" seems an attempt to further notch up the hype on this unreleased game. I mean come on, it's a decent looking DC proto that clearly had potential, not a lost Da Vinci masterpiece.
This slowdown issue has been addressed. ASSEMbler recorded it at a roflhigh resolution ie WQXGA which taxes his system a lot, plus he set the framerate in fraps to 30 or so FPS which can lag the recording too. If he had set the resolution to HD 1080p it would have saved his system a buttload of effort, plus if he set fraps to 60 FPS it would have reduced the slowdown too.
Is this game going to be released? If so when? Or is it like a private thing that's being kept away from being dumped? Fair enough if the buyers want to protect the investment.
the current problem is that the protection on the disc has yet to be cracked to allo wit to boot on retail dreamcasts
Oh that's good to hear. Very commendable behavior by the buyers, I wish more communities behaved like that. Because let's face it, once it's released it loses it's value considerably. If this was a Neo Geo game the prototype would be locked and hoarded!
