    Hmm, fap fap fap.

Anyways, how complete is the game actually? I sit playable till the final ending? Also, would it be possible to get a translation project going to at least translate the subtitles and such?

Haha, fuck me. It's taken nearly 13 years to see the light of day and now you want a full translation? While we're at it, should we commission someone to score the opening cinema as well? How about some fan fiction to flesh the characters out?

    I ask you...

Haha, well, look how long SGGG has been in the works, since 2006, and we just scored an interview at Racketboy with the founder of the project, and they just now picked up speed on translating it.

If somebody wanted to, sure they could translate it, but shouldn't we be more than content with what we got? Sure, it would be great to understand the story, but I'll take what I can get, you know what I mean? :)

It was fully intended to be a Starfox 64 competitor but was shelved before completed.

Well, it looks amazing. Even though it's not in English, I'm still going to play the hell out of it. It'll give me a reason to learn to read Japanese.

You're awesome monk, thank you so much for righting Donny's wrongs. If you have anything else you're selling, drop me a PM, I'd buy from you for sure.

It doesn't appear to be too language-heavy, so it should be OK. Am sure a translation of sorts will emerge, but we only just got this! :)

Can't believe they actually shelved this tbh. Seems like a cross between Rez and Star Fox 64 for sure only a little slower than I expected gameplay wise. Not sure if it was just the scene in the clip. Looks like it was really close to being finished before it was canned. Even had a nice intro and everything!

There is just one word that seems appropriate here:

    Kudos! :D

Magical things like this are the reason why there is still a metallic blue Dreamcast stored in my closet that is sometimes being taken out, dusted off and hooked up to my projector for a round of nostalgia.

I would actually not mind putting sound to the intro movie as it would be relatively straight forward creating a neat synced piece of audio to go with the fine visuals. (I don't know how easy it would be to implement into the game disc however)

I have access to some industry audio files for all the 'mechanical' sounds air-locks, thrusters, lasers etc. and can easily get all the ambient/atmos sound as well. Bascially I would enjoy doing such a thing. I am not saying that it should be done for release blah blah am just saying it might be nice and I would enjoy it.

I couldn't make a musical score though as I am not a musician of any kind, although I play a mean solo on the old skin flute! weyhey! but there is plenty of bombastic stuff out there which would be more than suitable.

    Just a thought ;-)

While that would be nice,I would rather just play the thing in its original state.Besides that would be adding more work/time for a game that took 13 years to surface. Not to mention he has to press discs,so he has his work cut out for him.

I agree. I was just saying that I would enjoy doing the audio and making it available to people, if they fancy it, when the game itself is available widely online in a few weeks/months or whatever but not for the pressed editions.

I am going to do it for myself anyway I think as I wanted something to mess about with to get back to using a few programs as I hopefully have a job interview at a new place in couple of weeks. It will help get me going again.

I am going to copy the youtube vid and drop it onto a time line and just a have a mess about.

    Cool :)
