I have a genesis cart that was made in Taiwan and im unable to find Google of any help, so i am asking here. Were there many made in Taiwan? because im unable to find any anywhere and this leaves me to believe mine was a bootleg maybe? I know very little about genesis carts so forgive me if this sounds stupid i can provide pics of the card if necessary.
Nope, real carts were indeed made in Taiwan as well as the US, Japan, and Mexico. I have some that say Taiwan and I'm 100% certain they are not bootlegs.
Yea post some pics,I've seen your pics already on ebay and thought it was interesting as the US sonic game had the japanese cover instead of the US one.
Yeh, ive got a few versions of PAL SONIC 1 and some are made in malaysia, some in China, so i suppose Sega had them made in the cheapest place they could find. All my launch title PAL 32X games are made in Japan, then the later releases are made in the UK, then some of the last ones are made in Mexico!!!:shrug: Even some of my late release JAP 32x titles are made in Mexico..
so i wasnt the only one eye'n up that sonic game lol he totally bs'ed about the flowers colors being different but the artwork is still cool since i praticly grew up worshiping sonic
