Hi. Just wondering if anyone has a picture of the front and rear of the Genesis core system? I've looked on google quite a bit now and found very little. The only picture I've managed to find is the following:
I'm currently planning on making a website dedicated to the golden age of Sega (and maybe the not so golden ages as well). Currently its all still in the planning stage, but the idea behind it all is to provide a good community, information resource and allow each registered user to have their say. Part of that is having a customisable menu, which is based from the artwork of the console boxes. Lots of work to do as you can see. EDIT: It will probably look like crap on anything below 1280x1024, and it will still look crap then :110:

Unfortunatly the site the font is on, is currently down (at least for me). But its NiseMegaDrive.tff, and it can be obtained from http://www.clavis.ne.jp/~sonic/segasonic/act5/font.htm. Although its not quite as easy as right clicking and downloading. You have to keep an eye on the hit counter and when it rolls over a full 1000, write in the guest book and that nice person will send you it. The guy has some great fonts there though, and was very kind to send me it . EDIT: It's working now, and just to clearify, its only that Mega Drive font that you have to use the guest book for. Everything else is just a "right click download" job.
Ah, I know that site. Yeah some great fonts there . I really want that japanese Mega Drive one too but getting it is very tough !! The owner of the site was kind enough however to make my Mega Cd banners that I use on my site. yakumo
Little update, the site now has a .com and can be found at http://www.16bitheaven.com . Although I'm still looking for a picture of a Genny Model 1 box if anybody out there would be so kind to take a picture I would be most grateful.
My uncle has a 1st gen genisis with box and everything. Its the sonic 1 bundle I beleive but I know its the 1st model (larger) system. He got it at a local church sale for 1 dollar lol. I wish I would have beatin him to it. Would you like me to try to get a pic of it for you? And if so what angles and how many? Its NTSC by the way.
