Genesis model 2 CXA2075 swap....help please!

hello all! id like to get some help from the resident veteran guru's around here if possible

i performed the cxa2075 swap on a japanese md model 2 VA0 according to the tutorial on this site:

the only thing i didnt do was add the VREF circuit becuase i didnt think id need one with the MegaAmp that i added...

the problem that im having is that the bright parts of the image bleed over onto the black parts of the image making dark lines that shouldnt be there.....
i have no idea what is causing this....does the VREF affect the video?
