Hi guys, I need your help. If you have EGM Number 4 on page 20 at the top is an image of Rambo 3 for Genesis. If you have this magazine and a scanner, and could scan it, and post it, this would be so appreciated. I have the magazine but no scanner. I strongly believe this is a prototype picture of Genesis Rambo 3 because I cannot find that scene ANYWHERE in the released version of the game. It is the single nicest looking scene of Genesis Rambo 3 that I've seen. I was disappointed that it seemingly cannot be found in the actual game. you can also see smaller versions of this image Genesis print advertizements. here is one of them you see Rambo shooting at some enemies from across the water. you see that blue truck and a shack or barracks. If this scene is in the game and I am mistaken, I appologize. this has long been something unresolved in my gaming life
Well you can either upload them to imageshack or something similar or you can click the 'go advanced' button, go to attach files and click the 'manage attachments' button. Select the file and upload it. I'm pretty sure it uses Assembler's space, so don't keep it up there too long.
I've always laughed at the oddly titled "Hollo Fighter" which later became SUPER HYDLIDE! Great game either way!
Yeah I was always wondering why Super Hydlide was called 'Hollo Fighter' . but that is nothing compared to the strangeness of what eventually got released as Slaughter Sport. so many names. lol. started out as 'Red Belt' then Tongue Of The Fatman, then Mondu's Fight Palace and finally, Slaughter Sport.
there are several ways. once you scan it, you might be able to have www.imageshack.us host it from there, and then post the imageshack generated URL. but i am still a newbe to that stuff. best of luck trying to get it posted! *fingers crossed*
Tongue of the Fatman was it's japanese release name. I noticed that they had the Mega Drive modem in the picture too. This was never officially released out side of Japan was it? Yakumo
As far as I know, it never made it outside of Japan and only 2 commercial games (Baseball and Mahjong both by Sunsoft) were ever released for it. The modem was to be called the "TeleGenesis Modem" in the US and Sega did have plans to bring it over but scrapped the idea around late 1990. Also, I do have the EGM #4 and can post the Rambo III pic and article tonight. Problem is, I don't have a scanner, but I can take a pic using my digital camera.
most appreciated, PhantasyStar. I was really hyped for Genesis Rambo 3 after reading that particular small preview. sadly the actual game that was released was a big disappointment.
