German OPS2M demo discs came with an "insert" which could be cut out of an actual magazine page and placed in your own DVD case if you fancied.

But what about the PS1 demos which came with German OPS1M, Play Zone*, and Fun Play? Did they come with any inserts/cases, or..?

Most I've come over are just loose discs, but I'm sure I do remember seeing some with inserts!

*Please do let me know if there were other German magazines with PS1/PS2 demos. (For all I know Play Zone wasn't a magazine, just a series of demos, but the question stands.. inserts/cases? Loose?

    Germans, please help me. :)

Play Zone was a magazine, not just a series of demos. I read it regularly.

I'm quite certain neither Play Fun nor Play Zone came with inserts. I don't think I ever saw an insert for a OPM demo either, but then again I'm not sure about that.
But just in case actual inserts were around, they can't have been very popular as I never saw any insert-cd-case (or whatever) in the hundreds of German collections that I've seen on pictures.

I think certain issues came with inserts, not all of them.

    Thanks guys.

No other German PS1 magazines which came with demos?

(Trying to find discs with Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Dino Crisis videos/playable demos.)

The PlayZone magazine was called PlayStationZone in the early days and came with demo discs aswell. As far as I remember they had inlays for jewel cases, but you had to cut the magazine with a pair of scissors :(

exactly. pretty annoying. so for the inserts you will most certainly have to find the whole mag

I have thrown away almost my whole collection of old Playstation magazines due to space issues. I tried selling them, nobody wanted them, not even as a gift!
I kept the discs and threw the rest away.

I bought OPM once near the end of the Playstations' life. It came with some full versions of Yaroze developed games which was pretty neat (I remember some Defender clone was on mine). And, by the way, it did have an insert too.

Crap. I hate that cutting business. No auctions last time I searched had the mags/cut inserts, but I did find some discs which may contain some interesting things. Anyway, if any of you do have some w/inserts/mags which you would consider to sell (not just PS1, any console demo not a UK demo) feel free to send me a PM...

On a related note, have any of you Germans ever seen the Resident Evil PS1 shop disc demo with just an RE1 video (no other games featured on the disc), SCED-00355? Anybody have it??
