So, I bought this arcade type stick at TJ Maxx http://www.amazon.com/Atari-Arcade-iPad-Duo-Powered/dp/B0062H2KNK (it was only $10 and feels so good in the hand). It's Bluetooth, and I can get my phone/tablet to recognize it and pair, but not actually do anything. Unfortunately there isn't much documentation on this stick now, and I can't find a guide for getting it to work, even with the Android version of the app it's supposed to work for (supposedly it's only made for the Atari app and no other ones, which would explain why it didn't take off like a firecracker).

    Anyone have any ideas?

Those game pads are pretty generic, most if not all will have a USB connection inside on the PCB. Usually they have points for a 30 pin apple dock connector, if so you can convert it to usb and connect to your tablet via a host cable.
