I finally got my SCART to RGB-21 adapter cable allowing me to connect my US SNES to my X-RGB3 without frying it. SCART is a pain for Americans because, outside of professional television production and broadcasting, it didn't exist here. I had to get all this stuff from Europe, including the GameCube SCART cable. Anyway, it works, and now my SNES shows up on my TV, really clearly. My TV doesn't support DVI, so the X-RGB's DVI output is connected to a DVI-to-HDMI adapter then connected to my TV. But I don't get sound. How do I get sound with this? I have a pass-through SCART thing that extracts sound as RCA jacks then let's SCART continue on the other side, but how do I send that to my TV? My TV doesn't seem to support "get video from HDMI, but get sound from RCA". Any advice on this? Also, anyone know where I might get an X-RGB3 remote control?
Get a dvi to hdmi adapter that supports audio. Break out audio from scart and connect to the dvi adapter Something like: http://item.mobileweb.ebay.co.uk/viewitem?itemId=360798360625
Here is the same adaptor from monoprice which will be cheaper: http://www.monoprice.com/Product?c_id=101&cp_id=10114&cs_id=1011405&p_id=8124&seq=1&format=2
