Old device but Tristar64 allowed people to play NES and SNES games on their N64 console. It did get me to thinking. Can a Genesis to SNES adapter be used on the Tristar64? Can the power base converter work on Genesis adapter? And finally, does Super Gameboy work on Tristar64? Master Everdrive, Mega Everdrive, Everdrive 64, Super Everdrive, and Powerpak and you could play umpteen thousand games. Of course by now, a dedicated emulation PC would be cheaper.
I imagine the Genesis to SNES adapter will work on the Tristar 64 since it only gets power and input from the SNES. Now I don't know if a Master System converter will work, maybe. The Super Gameboy I think might work on the Tristar 64, but there is a fair chance that the PowerPAK and other flash carts may not like the cloned the systems. But That is a funny idea you have. I don't think the n64 is exactly the ideal gamepad to play all those systems on.
playing sega on a nintendo just seems wrong to me, interesting idea tho. n64 pad wouldnt be a bad pad to play megadrive / genesis games on with the 6 button (A+B + C buttons) layout and the D-Pad although i've never tried
I believe he is referring to the RetroGen http://anerdoccurrence.com/2012/03/02/retrogen-adapter-review/
