I did some research and found there is no cheat device like a GG or PAR for the Sega CD. The Genesis one will work with some 32X games I've heard but not CD games. It would have to go between the CD console and main Genesis. My question is this. Has ANYONE ANYWHERE EVER gotten something like this to work on CD games? Specifically for Sonic CD? Thanks.
I can't think of any practical way to apply cheats to a physical Sega CD, though it would probably be easier through hacking/emulation. If all you're worried about is Sonic CD, there is a debug mode.
I know that. I even used it just 5 minutes ago to get to the past in my playthrough. Works good enough. I was thinking more of things like orbital jumps and such. Guess I be learning ASM now to start hacking...
 I should have known that if I had noticed your avatar sooner. Best of luck in your hacking ventures.
My avatar is a custom sprite I made for a comic strip that died on the first one. I call him DC or Dark Chaos. He's kind of a demigod sorta character. Kinda a rip off from the Ashura sprite found somewhere them extensively modified in just about every area. I'd like to make a game with him since I have a full sprite sheet. Hmmmmmm... Maybe that with my metal medley Sonic 1 hack idea could be fun. After all, DC is a heavy metal fanatic. Time to find a Sonic 1 decompiled file. And the best hacking utility possible.
