ghetto power cord ps3 super slim mod

not a super changeing mod but i needed a power cable for this ps3 i had so i did this :

I don't really understand why? Those power cables are a dime-a-dozen aren't they?

 

yea but i couldnt find one lol, i have a bunch of these cables from old monitors and such, needed a netflix box

 

Well I guess if youre in a pinch it works. Does look like you did it nicely. But if you are only using it for netflix I'd gladly trade you my netflix box. which is literally just a box that plays netflix and some other things lol

 

Seems off. No laptop, no smartphone that could have remedied this situation?

Still, you taped the joints. I've seen people twist together wires for a high amperage supply and leave them bare...

 

I dont really consider soldering 2 wires together, which were both designed to carry what you are putting down them a mod.

 

well i do run some things other than psplus i might play through last of us on it. the only reason im scared of doing that is it has a bad issue of killing hard drives. also i run netflix in the backround when i fuck around on my laptop so yea.

 

yea, i dont just twist and leave them alone i solder everything

 

my ps3 was free becuase it was smashed a bunch of times lol it corrupts hdd's too

 

i never twist and tape, allways solder
