Giving Freeipods.com a shot...

Discussion in 'Off Topic Discussion' started by Greatsaintlouis, Oct 27, 2004.

  1. Alright, I decided the other day to give the freeipods.com site a shot - I figure all I have to lose is more spam mail going into my Hotmail account. For those of you who haven't yet signed up but would like to, help a brother out, will ya? :-D

Perhaps we should make a central "help each other out on freeipods" topic instead of one for each user...

  3. Well, the original thread faded a while back, so I thought that making a new one wouldn't clutter things up too much.

And the sad thing is, if you are already registered, you can't help anyone else with their quest, as you can only be referred once, so this was more of a cry for help from any unregistereds than anything else.

the point is you can't help each other out to get ipods for everyone - one person needs 5 other people. They need 5 new people. Each of them needs 5 new people...

I considered trying the free ipod deal, but I figured it was a waste of time since I have a MiniDisc player (plus I didn't feel like going through the trouble :smt023 ).

  8. I've got a MiniDisc too, and love the hell out of the thing, but my big problems are A) Sony's software is atrocious, prone to crashing, freezing up my computer, and to boot, doesn't like some of my MP3s as they aren't encoded just the way it wants them, and B) My player has no shuffle function. I figure, if I could get the thing for free, why not? At the very least, I could resell it.

Sure you don't want to sign up just to help me? ;-) :-D

Thats why you should go for the flatscreen. Playing shenmue on a 12" black and white is no way to live :smt009

  10. A 13" color isn't much better. ;-)
