OK, as you may already know, GManWillis has been accused of scamming by verbalkintxxl over an allegedly fake copy of resident Evil 1.5 that required a password to unrar / unzip the data files. verbalkintxxl traded a few Metal Gear Game Cube betas for this Resident Evil 1.5. He says his Metal Gear discs are legit betas however he never got the password from GManWillis for the Resident Evil 1.5 file so the Resident Evil 1.5 file was useless. The password was refused due to various reasons. Apparently, this happened over a week. Only today has GManWillis claimed that the Metal Gear betas are in fact normal retail game images. How true this is we don't know.

So this is basically the whole mess. A deal goes down, one guy allegedly doesn't get what he was owed in the deal. Warns others about being scammed, shit kicks off and a week later the Metal Gear files are deemed to be fake.

We are going to sort this mess out like adults not like kids. We don't need pages upon pages of slagging with "he said this, he did that" and so on. It makes the forum look awful and only brings a bad image to ASSEMblergames.

So I'm am writing this to inform everyone that the issue hasn't been ignored and that the original thread is still on the ASSEMblergame servers. It's just been moved for now. This problem of scamming is something that can affect anyone of us and is not going to be let off. We are trying to find 100% proof of who scammed who. Until we do however I request that this matter be kept to PMs if you'd like to discuss with other members of the forum. (DON'T PM ME, I Don't have the time).

    Thanks

    Yakumo
