Will be the reason I finally pick up a PS3. do we know any sort of release date other than 2009? I need to start saving up.
I couldn't imagine how they could make the game any better than the predecessor's (Graphically) But they've done it, very chunky graphics - The game looks amazing so far
I'll probably get a PS3 for this. Maybe. Like others have said, it'll probably be "The' game to finally get me to get one.
I ve finished GoW2 but I failed to see the miracle everyone claims it to be. I ll give it locales/graphics/animation/presentation/sound, the whole technical part actually and tight controls, and even the puzzles, but the combat is just.. hack and slash which makes it a glorified Fighting Force =/
I started fresh playing the original again recently as I'd never got more than a few hours in, and... meh. The gameplay is obviously polished but the repetitive brawling doesn't do anything for me, and Kratos is one of the least interesting characters in gaming history. I don't think there's any way you could make him more generic. I have no problem with trashy characters but honestly this "dark, tortured soul" shit just makes me fucking yawn.
Further into GOW the storyline gets a little better and Kratos gets a little more to him then just being angry. GOW was pretty good but later on it got very repetitive.
I only had a chance to rent and play a few hours of the first one, seemed good. I love mythology so maybe I'll pick them all up again including this new one.
Yeah, the mythology stuff is really cool in it. I thought the game was a little overrated but it's pretty brutal and fun. I love violence!!!!!!
