I finally got a PS2 test unit today. So I've been going thru all my discs trying to sort them out. I came across this one. Is this anything special or is it the same as the God of War II demo disc which they handed out.
That's cool. I also question if there's anything different from the final build. PS: Why can't people with E3 and TGS builds of GT2, GT2000, GT3,... show up? :110:
Often E3 versions are made for blockbuster titles. They usually don't make E3 versions for games like Driv3r,Casper and Gran Turismo
I have GOW II and on the promo DVD it shows you when they release the playable demo at E3 - it's all on film. I don;t think there are major differences but could be some small cosmetic things. If you're selling I'd buy (big GOW fan!).
From what I could gather from the special edition DVD, the 2006 E3 demo was sort of rushed together, but seems about the same from the look of it. Only thing I can think of is that it might contain data on some of the deleted stuff near the end of development that was shown on the DVD.
I'm sorry for that. I was going to quote you, but i clicked on the edit button. Only noticed it after i posted. So i went back, and deleted what i added to your post, and then replied correctly. Sorry for that
I played it a bit more. I never played the retail version but the graphics feel a bit unfinished or glitchy. It seemd to start on level 3. Fast forward to the part where you attempt to help the man outnumbered 3 to 1. When you get there he is dead and you have 1 baddie to kill. Kill him and after the dying guy talks about the golden fleece and you jump from the moving wheel to the series of moving wheels and belts. On the last moving belt you have to pass 3 sets of snakes which shoot a green force beam not to mention the bad guys. Ok you with me? At the end of the continous belt there is a wall. When I smashed the wall it said MGS 195 which I assume is a place holder for the real message. On a side note I also found the E3 version of GOW1 in the stack.
