Hi, I will be leaving for Italy in 2 days and was wondering if there were any good video game vendors/import shops over there. I will be visiting Rome, Venice, and Florence specifically. Just hoping to stumble across some nice shops... (a break from the standard fare GameStop's and whatnot here in the states). Also, are there any nice arcades over there? Would love the chance to play some shooting games. Thanks a lot!
so, concerning arcades, they died when the psx came out are as rare as devkits now there are some good VGs dealers, but sadly the ones i was using are closed now... some of the best have ebay shops, so you could make a search on ebay and check where they are (if close enough). by the way, florence? i live 15kms from there, in Prato
Hell yes! There is a big arcade reseller somewhere near Venice, I am sure, but I cant tell the exact address as I dont remember it
Well, I just got back from the trip and sadly had a hard time making my way out of "tourist" areas. I only found one shop in Florence selling nothing_special_for_too_much_money and a terribly bad arcade/slot machine parlor lol. Still it was a great experience and I would love to go back and visit someday and hunt down these places you mention. Thanks :thumbsup:
