Going to Japan as part of Honeymoon soon. Know of any good spots to go?

    Hmmm,

I've tried that train search site you linked to, and the cheapest fare seems to be the following:

NARITA (JR Rapid Airport Narita) - Change at FUNABASHI, take the JR Sobu Chuo Line to YOYOGI, then according to my lonely planet map, take the Metro from Yoyogi to Toei Shinjuku (to leave us as close to the hotel as possible). ¥1280 each and 93 mins.

Although, I have no idea where Funabashi actually is and can't see it on any of my maps! I also assume that I can use the Suica card on such a trip? The ¥2000 yen starting price would cover the trip nicely. :icon_bigg

Also, I've heard we should carry our passports around with us as the Japanese police can have a tendency to stop tourists in the non-metropolitan areas. Is that true? I'd rather not have to carry it and get it lost or stolen! (As Japan's just the first stop).

Any other tips would be great. I'm currently circiling all the recommended places on the subway map I have to try and make our lives a little bit easier when we get there on Tuesday.

edit: I've found Funabashi, but I was wondering if Japan do those unlimited railcards so we don't have to keep topping up the Suica card all the time.
