The new Part of the Makaimura (Ghost n Goblins) Series is near, the Japan Release is on August the 3rd. Maybe we got here some Makaimura Fans like me who love it.
From the Screens it looks amazing, i hope it still has the old Gameplay Spirit and is freaking hard. ;D

of course i'm looking forward to the latest work of fujiwara tokuro. i own allmost about all makaimura and related games ever released in the japanese country, and gokumakaimura will be a great add, i believe! i've played the 1st level almost a year back at the TGS '05! looks OK so far, even it's quite different to the classic ones!

What is different to the Classic Ones?

And i think everyone on Multikonsolero knows that you're the #1 Makaimura Fan. ^^ I think the Pic with all the Games is still in your Topic on the Forums.

the main difference is, that there is no use of checkpoint anymore. you run through the game in metal slug-like style e.g. the leveldesign is build up in a more strategic way, a lot of obstacles have to be overcome more logicaly and patiently. also arthur is much more flexible in his controlling, as well the use of many spell-like magics is possible. may be the final version will be much differ to the version I played almost a year ago. let' s see waht the 3rd august brings to us^^

I may well have to pick up another one of these systems yet again - just for this one damn game. Gn'G is just too good, and unlike Final Fight, it is still being produced by the original mastermind behind the game, and still remains faithful to its (2D) origins.

yes, as i mentioned above, it will be produced again by fujiwara tokuro which, i think just returned to capcom for that important project. but i'm still a little bit disappointed from the style which the game brings with it, since i liked to see an other real 2-D makaimura instead of a "2 1/2"-D. also i feel more and more, that the designer nowadays unlearned the real essence of creating 2D grafx, also it's cheaper in development costs and most of the people today expecting 3D instead of 2D, due to the hardware posibilities! see also the development of cave e.g!

That CM was amazing ! Someone should translate that in to English. Best add I've seen in years. Just a shame the game is coming out on the PSP. BIG SCREEN IS WHAT WE WANT, CAPCOM !!!! Do you hear me??

is all the dialogue in pure Japanese?

I was thinking of grabbing it, but I think I might get more enjoyment out of it when an English version comes out :crying:
