I've seen some special Saturna with several colours... But none of them were oficial consoles from SEGA of Japan. To you all who know about this promotion, Do you know if this was an oficial promotion or just a prize from some media? Thanks ;) .

It was a contest based on Decathalete for Sega Net. As far as I can tell, Sega ran the promotion. It's got their logo on the ad (as well as the Xband logo) and it's got the Sega Net logo plastered on the Saturn.

HI_Ricky: This is not a prototype. A prototype is never given to anyone (except maybe a developer or an executive, and often they don't work).

Unless someone can prove otherwise, I'll assume there's only one of each color, as stated in this ad.

Gaijin Punch, and I supposse that you're right. Maybe these are the only "metallic" coloured official consoles.

Anyway, I think that special versions didn't use pigments in their plastics (as other official versions do) and they're just painted externally. I think this because I doubt they modified their assembly line for 3 consoles only. That would cost much money.

    Salutes ;) .

I agree, and stated this a while back when I mentioned that I saw a picture. The fact is, we'll probably never know. When someone brings up "the rarest console" someone usually mentions a signed one, which is in effect, a normal one that is painted, like these metallic ones probably are. Just throught I'd throw that in. :)
