I Was like wow originally, Then I saw the inviso tetris blocks and almost shit bricks, How does he do it?
I think he's able to actually press the button to change the direction of the pieces when they land unlike the older Tetris games...not to say it's not insane, but he can manipulate and move the pieces after they landed unlike the original version and NES/Game Boy versions.
Truly amazing! Looks like all of those pointless years of brain cramming in Japanese Juku schools pays off for something  Yakumo
I say it's photoshopped...it has to be! Wow that guy is amazing, I wish that I could play even half as good as him.
The worst thing about the grandmaster mode is that you do not get a clear till after the credits have finished. So there are loads of amazing players who cannot 1cc that mode, just because of that ending section, like Hibachi in dodonpachi I suppose. There is a program out that for practicing with invisible blocks as well as blocks that loose their colour once they have been placed. Trust me, the latter is very hardcore as the speed gets up!
Here's the one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gUMMFIBUBWA Not the same guy I think. The one Tatsujin and I spotted one year ago was very good as well though (he calls himself ZAB on the scoreboards) and these videos are not edited in any way, it's just that these players are kind of paralized till the end of the game  I love those Grand Master videos (and the Grand Master games too), it's really the ultimate Tetris version and smashes all the Nintendo Tetris'es which look like child's play in comparison to this.
Thats the skill of a great player. They are like everyone else in that they are not perfect, their true skill lies in that they can correct the problems on the fly without skipping a beat
