Well the launch seems to get better every day According to an article on http://gamefront.de JP will only get 80K PS3's at launch.Be sure to hire some protection if you go to pick up your pre-order.
Is karma: the japanese didnt buy the Xbox with the weak excuse that it was big, and now they're getting the biggest, most power hungry and in-limited-supply console ever:110: They should start writing a list...
I cant believe some bastard actually gave $50 bucks to these fucking assholes "for the cause"OH: Theres people dying from starvation and these fuckers get enough donations to destroy an expensive console? seriously WTF IS HAPPENING? Anyway, I hope some crazy-ass sony fanboy (who didnt get a PS3) will get a gun and shot these fuckers in the head the moment they trow the damn thing to the ground. That's something I would pay to see...
I'd probably pay $50 if I had it to spare, I'd love to see the fanboys and girls faces, it'd be awesome. And if you want to argue about charities, buying and destorying the console is very close to buying it and wasting it anyway.
Shadowlayer: Errr, and yet you probably spend hundreds (thousands?) of dollars every year on videogame gear? Do you really need it? No, so maybe you should put your money in some charity. PS. I want to see a PS3 get smashed!
Yeah I do, because I like games, and not getting any is like telling a football player he cant play anymore, not even for free, becos it would be better to donate all the money, or just burn the friggin ball... Dude, I'm paying for a product, I'm giving money for something in exchange, while these assclowns from smashmyshit.com just waste the money, becos it would be the same to just take the dollars and set them on fire than to hand it over to them to buy something and smash it.
But so are these guys! Are you against going to the movies or buying tickets to a rock concert? Same thing in my eyes. (well, almost :katamari2)
Look, in my opinion it would be better if they just made a pile with the money and set in on fire. Why? simple: money today is theorical, not real since it doesnt has a real value like gold but only a financial one. Therefore, in the global economy when you buy something (as an object) you're actually getting something for nothing! Dunno, it makes more sense to me that just destroying the object you bought...
