Fuck Jay Leno until Conan gets another show I'm watching Letterman. Does anyone think Jay Leno is funny... ANYONE?

Jay Leno was funnier when he was on late night, but now he's not.

I love Conan. Actually. ytmnd.com got me hooked to his show.

Poor Conan. To think Jay could have done SOMETHING, be the bigger man and just accept what you started. But he just had to sit idly by and pretty much force Conan to make the first move when he issues that letter announcing his unwillingness to cooperate with NBCs stupid proposal of essentially turning Tonight into Tomorrow.

Part of me still wants to like Jay, and I'm sure he's a great guy besides all of this business crap. But he's certainly lost a huge amount of respect, I'm never turning into his show ever again. Clearly he doesn't mind that lots of others are thinking the same thing.

Here's hoping Conan comes back in full swing and becomes the king of late night talk show hosts

 

and he pulled this same shit with Letterman. Word is He might go to Fox there was a rumor Letterman was going to let Conan have his show but CBS Renewed Letterman until 2012.

I wish I watched more of Late Night. I'm giving Fallon a shot and enjoying his show.
So for the next several months Letterman then Fallon. Or I could just watch The Daily Show and Colbert.

And also Conan produced and wrote some of the best Simpsons episodes and created the Sea Captian.

I as well am pissed off with Leno, he rips off Howard Stern all the time, even takes stuttering john, then he has the nerve to be on top gear and a couple of weeks later steal their star in a reasonably priced car segment and do it even worse.

Honestly Conan handled his goodbye speech very well.The guy wrote some of the best snl sketches and Simpsons episodes. I myself have always been a Dave guy and what Leno did to him back in the early 90s was so cheap.

I mean he really should of left, but no Jay can't stop working. He can't stop showing off all his cars to get attention and upstage every struggling comedian. I usually don't agree with GOH most of the time, but I will agree that I will be watching Letterman till Conan is back on the air. Not to be too off topic but man everything Andy Richter touches just bombs.

 

And that too is a shame because Andy is pretty awesome in his own right.

You have to give it to him though, he took it like a man and carried on with it.

 

The lesson learned here is that Jay Leno is not the ratings gold he thinks he is and, as such, he shouldn't be moved back to the Tonight Show.

He tanked at 10:00. More people are up then. If he can't do well there, he probably won't fare much better at the tonight show...especially without ANY good sort of lead in.

Hopefully Conan will be on Fox at 11:00 so I don't have as hard a choice choosing between him and Colbert. (I can switch at 11:30 when boring celebrities come out.)

Jay use to be ok but recently i could care less. Hell usualy the main reason I ever watched his show as for headlines.

But over all conan is and always was great. I have to admit being a bit disappointed in last nights show. they could have gotten away with so much but they didn't. Hell the previous night with robin williams was freaking hilarious.

Either way, I can't wait to see what he does in september and I hope he gets to have as much freedom as he wants (Tonight show W/ Conan was not as strong as Late Night W/ Conan).

 

If he gets a show on Fox lord knows what we'll see. Hopefully a gig on fox means more Conan influenced Simpsons. Some of the best episodes had Conan's stamp on it (the Sea Captian was his invention)

Yeah I was a bit disapointed with the final show myself. His final Show on Late Night was better.

Some of Conan's best stuff is unseen he was on Martha Stewart's Show and was F'n Hilarous.

 

Oh dear god. His return to the simpsons would be the greatest thing EVER. I even sudgested that back when this stuff started to happen.

 

Never liked Leno. I would go to sleep instead of watching the Tonight Show when he subbed for Carson.

 

Why are you blaming Jay Leno? He doesn't tell NBC what to do. NBC did not want to release Jay from his contract. So they tell him what they want to do. It's really not his fault, it's the decision makers at NBC that fucked everything up. I like both Jay Leno and Conan. I'm sorry that Conan got a bad deal but I'm pretty sure and do hope that he moves on to another place and keeps doing what he's good at. But I think the whole "take sides" thing is very silly.
