Does anyone have any recommendations? I'm specifically looking for Sega/Nintendo ones which will let me launch a specific rom full screen. I've got Kega Fusion, Nestopia, Genesis Plus and SMS plus but can find dick all documentation on command line arguments. Any suggestions?
All those emulators probably have full screen options in the menu bar at the top of the screen. Macs don't really use command line. In OS X, its called Terminal and is found in the Utilities folder. From there you can execute Unix commands. However, this is really for making changes to OS X and is rarely used for running programs by itself. Most emulators, even on windows, start a rom off in windowed mode. You then click full screen in one of the option menus to get it full. Command line (on windows) can be used to auto start a rom using full screen depending on the program (example: program.exe nameofrom -fullscreen) but finding such a command to use in Terminal is going to be near impossible since so few use it.
Hmm doesn't sound encouraging. I really want to automate the loading and full-screening. The reason I ask is that I want to launch games from within XBMC which I use on my Mac partition. As this is set up in the in the living room as a HTPC I don't really fancy rebooting to drop out into Windows whenever I want to play a game. Perhaps I need to look at some apple scripting. They just work my foot...
