During my massive downloading I aquired a ton of Pachinko games... most of them had RPG elements so I skipped them. What are the pick up and play pachinko games?
Not sure what Peggle is, but all the Pachinko games that I've played so far (on SFC and Saturn) were boring as hell. I never quite figured out what I really have to do either because I got too bored before the game had any chance to enhance to a deep experience that would have absorbed me. There were hundreds of Pachinko games over the years released for almost every console. If you feel the distinct temptation to play this game - that is intented to gain its motivation by winning money - without winning shit, I guess you should go the PS2 route. Anything else is way outdated now and will bore any normal gamer even more. But as I assume you are going for ROMs, you should try to find something for MAME (if there is anything, never checked. A pachinko game on PCB is hard to imagine though^^). Or just buy Shenmue 2 and play that street-game Ryu is offering as a part-time-job. I remember myself trying to get into that f*ckin middle until I had spent hundreds of HK$ and got there maybe once or twice!
You don't win real money officially with real pachinko, just prizes. If you want a pachinko game on then get one of the Sankyo Fever games on the Sega Saturn (Japanese) and then get this as it's basically the same control handle on a real Pachinko machine... Both shouldn't cost more then $20 (+postage). There is one for the Playstation as well as one on the Famicom and PC Engine but they are more tricky to find and find the games for.
I still have to obtain that controller as I already do have the Sankyo Fever compilation (2 & 3). Maybe I can pick one up cheap on yahoo someday. Man, that'll be one hell load of fun for sure!!
as for mamez romz, there is ONLY one good & funney pachi game: http://www.digitalmonkeybox.com/pachinko_sexy_reaction.htm ray:
Pity it lacks the pachinko controller on the PC and using the kayboard just isn't the same... I nearly bought the PCB it when I was in Japan but decided to buy a couple of cheap mahjong boards instead. It's more fun then using the joypad that's for sure and as it's the same build quality as the real machines. I have a spare one of these, I'll add it to a sales thread I'll post next week.
