That looks like a Vectrex to me. Matter of fact, I'm almost sure that's what it is. It's from the right time period, right controllers, same funky built-in screen and everything.

Can anybody explain this google patent thing to me? I type in a word to search, and I get a list of results. Then when I click on the result, it is nothing that is listed in the initial description. What am I doing wrong? Seems like an awesome service, but I can't find s**t.
