I've got a GP2X with what is clearly a broken screen. It will power up (at least the LED powers on) but I don't know if the rest of it is working as I don't hear any audio. Do I need to have OS files on a SD card in there first?
The OS is contained in the flash memory. You can establish a serial connection to it via the mini USB port.
