Was wondering how many users are facing graduation this year, what they thought of their time at uni/college/school and how they performed. I've just received my University results via email. Recieved a 2.2 in BSc Applied Geography from Bournemouth University, not a fantastic result from an academic perspective but I couldn't be happier, after years of debt, stress, soggy field trips and lecturers who gave no encouragement it's nice to be rewarded with a mark which doesn't say fail or 3rd! Good luck to anyone still awaiting results, would be great to know how you got on.
my missus just got overall distinctions for her forensics course, and shes now going back to uni in september to do her masters and im just finising off doing a HnD in biochemistry through OU and well done on the 2.2 better than a kick in the balls, least u passed!,
I just graduated...BA, Double Major in Creative Writing and Spanish. Looks like I'm going on to law school!
i m graduating this july (i might already have actually) . i wont attend it though, waste of time, money and i m not a fan of picture-memories.
Graduating? Ha ha. I've got no idea when the hammer comes down on me... Well, I just need to do a few more classes & the final paper before I get my BSc in Computer Science at Leiden University, but, being fed up with CS, I'm starting my Economics major in Amsterdam next year. You won't hear me complaining though, I'm having a great time
I have at least 3 more years to go for me. If everything works out ok I will get a BS in Construction Engineering.
Still have two more years to tackle before I earn my BEng in Networking & Distributed Systems. After this...who knows.
I've got a couple years left of school. I'm majoring in International Business. Hopefully I'll be studying abroad in China next Fall. My college grades have been A LOT lower than my high school grades...
I have two years left of school, and I still have no idea what I'm doing. I'm doing okay in community college, but I'm going with the complete desperation approach by transferring to Appalachian State. If I stay in this town another year I'll likely want to kill myself. It's also 2:30 AM and I'm drunk :katamari:.
This october *toccata* actually and it will be it! Finally! Never start working while you study - just study, else the studies wont finish anymore
Next year I'm heading to La for film school. I tell you the biggest bitch about collage is getting the money for it.
I am not sure how long till i graduate maybe a few years but after that i can go on to a job in IT or anything like that and start earning something.
My advice for IT or Engineering is go on a work placement for a year or take an Intern position. Without experience it is VERY hard to get your foot in the door.
i didnt go to College/University.. and its maybe one thing i regret... DD - that forensics course sounds interesting......
Exactly! I didn't do that and that's why I'm squatting on two Associate Degrees (CIS Microcomp. Spec. and Network Spec.).
That's true. I started as a intern, then the same company gave me a job position. I'm working there for 3 and a half years (1 year of intern)
