I came across this Nissan press kit a few years back on ebay. This was supposedly given out at auto shows and along with the usual media discs, there's also a demo version of Gran Turismo 3 that only lets you drive the Nissan 350Z car on only one track. The person I bought it from claimed that there were other versions made, but I've only seen either Japanese versions or demos featuring Gran Turismo 4. Does anyone else own one of these or know of any other U.S. GT3 demos?
I know that there was a special version for the BMW Z1 here in germany. I don't have the car or this version of the game either but i think it was in Gran Turismo 4 code.
Never heard of it. But if you don't know the NISMO kit for the 350Z was made by Polyphony Digital. Anyway, other "company" demos exist: GT4 VW Lupo GT4 Toyota Prius GT4 Toyota Auto Show GT4 BMW 120 GT4 Falken Skyline The GT4 Toyota Auto Show was avaiable at USA territory.
This is something I'd like to focus on for my collection, and as an avid Nissan-nut and moderator of a big Nissan forum, if there is a Nissan edition, it simply must be mine The beauty of GT collecting is that you need comparatively few systems to play them all, and yet there are lots of cool special versions and whatnot. I currently have none, only the four mainline games, not even Prologue.....guess I need to get on that, lol.
I would get all these demos if i could, and for free, like they used to be avaiable. I'm already happy by having the GT2000 Demo/beta disc and all retail versions (except for the ultra difficult to find Gran Turismo 2002 Tokyo-Seoul). Gotta get Tourist Trophy and then wait for GT5 on the PS3.
