I've just read that it's gonna have a limited run. Can anyone here help me getting one? I bet this is gonna be sold-out very quickly.

Amazon, Gamestop,... All they have for now is the regular version for pre-order. Probably the Collector's Edition pre-order will start on the upcoming days.

Anyway, the price is supossed to be $99,99 MSRP, but a shipping quote would be important as well. Just so i know how my wallet will hurt.

 

No online store has the collectors edition for pre-order. Even if it did, it would be easier for you guys in USA to secure one copy.

I'll ask Sonik if he can help me on the payment process (100 bucks for the game + don't know how much for shipping) or else i'll have to do a bank transfer (and pay some taxes).

I've read at GTplanet that retailers still don't know about this edition. I guess pre-order will start after E3? Hopefully more info will be avaiable today or tomorrow.

Amazon, Bestbuy, Gamestop, Walmart,... All they have, for now, is the normal version pre-order.

EDITED: Just read on UOL Jogos, that Mark Stanley (Director and Manager of Sony Latin America) and Anderson Gracias (Manager of the PlayStation Division at Sony Brasil) said that the game will be released here in Brazil the same day as USA = November 2.

No word on Collector's edition though (God of War 3 was released down here only on the normal version).

Do you think that 50 dollars would be enough for a tracked and insurance mail option? I was checking USPS website and came across their calculate postage price site: http://ircalc.usps.gov/

It's been a long time since i got anything from USA, so i have no idea how much it would it be. I have no idea what's the weight of the pack, but having a 300 page book, maybe it's over 3kg for the whole thing?

If the box isn't that big and heavy, it might be possible to use Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Box ($13.45), up to 4 pounds, with insurance. If it needs a bigger box, the same Priority Mail with Medium Flat Rate Box ($43,45), up to 20 pounds and also with insurance. Nothing about tracking though, but i guess it's free of charge on both cases. Tracking would be very important on this.

As for payment, it's something i already started to discuss with sonik. He might be able to help me, using his paypal account.

Anyway, it might get released around here too, so i guess maybe i should wait and see any new info on the next week / month?

Still, if you can give me an aproximate final price (GT5 Collector's Edition + Shipping to Brazil + Paypal fees), as this would help me a lot. Depending on this i could take a decision and pay you very soon.

Damn USPS is expensive. I would like to find the size and weight as I might be able to get it cheaper using some couriers that my wife's company uses.
