So I've come across a lot of books and websites that go over HOW to make a game in a particular language, but can anyone here recommend books or sites that go over the logic and thought process of making a game? Such as algorithm ideas, and stuff? If it uses examples it doesnt need to be in any particular language. For specifics about game genres, something that targets role-playing/action would be perfect.
